Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, the eclectic 5 piece fronted by Andrew Michael Wells, has carved their own unique path in the music industry. Combining heartfelt lyrics focused on philosophy, theology, history, and literature with monumental instrumental peaks and valleys spanning Post-Hardcore, Metalcore, Math Rock, Shoegaze, Indie, and Experimental Rock; Eidola is truly a one-of-a-kind project in the modern era of music.
Over the last 10 years, Eidola have proven themselves a musical force to be reconned with. From releasing 4 genre-bending, billboard-charting albums, to touring the world with the likes of Dance Gavin Dance, Polyphia, Chon, Periphery, and Veil Of Maya, Eidola has shown no signs of slowing down in their pursuits pushing the limits of art.
Their latest release The Architect (2021) was the band’s highest charting release to date, as the went on to embark on their most successful headline tour culminating in a sold out performance at the El Ray Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Now, Eidola is back in 2024 to push the boundaries once again, this time with two full length albums, Eviscerate and Mend. Featuring a whopping 13 tracks each, the band pulls no punches in delivering two sonically and thematically juxtaposed pieces of music. Eviscerate being violent, chaotic, dark, and bone crushingly heavy with themes of absolute loss, sorrow, hatred, rage, and regret. Followed by Mend, turning the tide with its focus on beauty, grace, forgiveness, love, and compassion; sonic ballads with soaring vocals and emotional instrumentation.
